Hi! I’m Travis Black.
I’m a Seattle-based seeker and lifelong student of mystery.
My primary goal as a provider is to alleviate suffering—internally and externally—through practical, innovative and evidence-based approaches.
Over the past 34 years, my study in metaphysics and spirituality has included both deep engagement with and initiation into a range of Western esoteric schools and Eastern spiritual lineages.
I currently teach in Austin Coppock’s Fundamentals of Astrology program, where I help students build grounded, technically sound astrological foundations—and where I’ve begun integrating my psychological training to better support student learning, critical thinking, and emotional resilience.
To further strengthen the ethical and technical quality of my practice, I’m also working toward CAP-ISAR certification.
I'm also training to be a social psychologist, and my research is all about creating practical, real-world mental health interventions for people affected by spiritual abuse and cult dynamics.
As a cult survivor, I'm dedicated to demystifying the intersection of spirituality and psychology. I work to prevent the exploitation of vulnerable individuals within this ambiguous space.
My goal is to integrate formally trained mental health care with so-called 'alternative' healing modalities and provide grounded services to the community at the highest level—without relying on unverifiable claims.
